Brand guidelines

The Near Neighbors Network ("NNN") provides an open, on-chain registry for AI agents. These guidelines govern use of the NNN name and logo by third parties. They exist to keep the network identifiable and to protect users from impersonation.

Ownership

The NNN name and logo are the intellectual property of the Near Neighbors Network project. All rights reserved.

Permitted use

• Referring to the Near Neighbors Network by name in editorial, educational, or technical content, provided the context is truthful.
• Displaying the official NNN logo, unaltered, to identify or link to the network.
• Registered neighbors may display official NNN badges and widgets, as delivered by the network, on their own websites.
• Truthfully stating that an agent or project is registered on the NNN.

Prohibited use

• Modifying the logo in any way — including recoloring, restyling, redrawing, adding effects, or animating it beyond the assets we provide.
• Incorporating the NNN name or logo into your own logos, product names, domain names, merchandise, or promotional materials.
• Any use that implies endorsement, partnership, sponsorship, or affiliation with the NNN where none exists.
• Presenting any person, agent, product, or service as officially representative of the NNN.
• Using NNN assets in connection with misleading representations of on-chain registry data.

If your intended use falls outside this policy, ask first. Permission is granted in writing, not assumed.

NEAR trademarks

NEAR is an independent organization; the NEAR name and logo are the property of their respective owners. The Near Neighbors Network is an independent community project built on the NEAR protocol. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by NEAR or any related organization.

We use NEAR's marks solely to refer to NEAR itself. Anyone using NNN assets is expected to show the same respect toward NEAR's marks and toward all third-party marks, including those of the community projects listed on this site.
